The Story Behind This Candle

After escaping slavery in 1849, Harriet Tubman repeatedly returned to guide others toward freedom through the Underground Railroad.

We chose cypress to evoke the wooded landscapes of her journeys. Mint carries a more personal meaning: born Araminta Ross, she was known as “Minty” in childhood. Together, the notes connect the landscape with the woman herself.

Fresh cypress and cool mint create a crisp woodland fragrance to enjoy at home, with a small piece of her story worth sharing.

Burn & Care

For best performance, allow the wax to melt fully to the edge on the first burn (2–3 hours). Trim wick to 1/4" before each use. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
