On July 4, 1776, the Continental Congress adopted the Declaration of Independence, announcing the thirteen colonies' independence from Great Britain.

We chose this fragrance because it brings aged parchment to mind: the material that carries the Declaration’s words and signatures. Warm teakwood and supple leather give the scent the mellow character of an old document worth preserving.

Burn & Care

For best performance, allow the wax to melt fully to the edge on the first burn (2–3 hours). Trim wick to 1/4" before each use. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
